I want a use for it. I'm not purchasing a alternative battery compartment, NOT providing it on E Bay for $5, and Not simply throwing it out. Just wanting to know if everyone has some creative idea perhaps to turn it into a base scanner, or fitting it into some Strange system. Bottom line, it really works on AC, And that i don't want to toss it out.
